CrossCult at “Future of Libraries”

On February 26th to 28th, our partner University of West Attica took part in the international conference “Future of Libraries” that was organised by the Indian Institute of Management and was held in Bangalore, India. Specifically, Prof Daphne Kyriaki Manessi, Prof G.Giannakopoulos and Prof I.Triantafyllou organised and carried out a workshop entitled "Managing Cultural heritage Information in the Digital World: the case study of CrossCult". Stakeholders from the area of Library Science participated and express a great ingterest in the technology used, the adoption of specific apps and use of CrossCult Knowledge Base. In addition, two papers were also presented by Dr Dimitrios Kouis and Dr Evgenia Vassilakaki further promoting the results of CrossCult.
